How the Adovteck Caregiver & TypeSafe Apps Work
The Advoteck Caregiver App is a powerful tool designed to enhance the safety and security of your dependents’ online interactions.
With seamless integration alongside our companion app, TypeSafe Keyboard, caregivers can receive real-time alerts whenever sensitive information—like credit card numbers or social security numbers—is detected during typing. This innovative solution empowers you to stay informed about potential risks without compromising privacy.
Follow the steps in the videos below to set up the Advoteck Caregiver App and the TypeSafe Keyboard.
Step 1: Caregiver App Setup & Invite
Open the app, create your account, and complete verification.
Send your loved one an invite to download TypeSafe Keyboard.
Step 2: Dependent Setup & Keyboard Installation
Help your loved one set up their account and install TypeSafe Keyboard.
Enable it in Settings > Apps > TypeSafe > Keyboards > Toggle on TypeSafe & Allow Full Access.
(Recommended) Remove other keyboards by going to Settings > General > Keyboard > Edit > Delete. Keeping only TypeSafe & Emoji keyboard.
Step 3: Set Up Secret Alerts
Refresh your Caregiver App and select your loved one’s profile.
Add sensitive info alerts (e.g., last 4 of credit cards, SSNs, bank accounts).
TypeSafe will then notify you if these details are shared.
